- OutageMap is an information service only; not affiliated with any utility or internet provider. Utility and provider names are trademarks of their respective owners.
- Not for emergencies. Reports you submit here appear only on this site and are not sent to any utility or provider. For hazards call 911 or your utility.
- Utility counts come from public feeds and are typically refreshed every few minutes; they can lag, be revised or be unavailable. Visitor reports are unverified. The site is provided "as is"; total liability is limited to CAD $100.
- Reports: you must be 13+ (16 in the EEA/UK); you grant a non-exclusive licence to store, aggregate and display your report; no false, automated or third-party reports; no personal details.
- Short excerpts may be quoted with attribution and a link. No scraping, mirroring or bulk extraction without written permission. Outage data remains the property of the utilities.
- Ads and analytics are described in the Privacy Policy (https://outagemap.org/privacy).
- Governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect.
