About OutageMap

OutageMap shows, in one place, how many customers are without power right now according to the public outage feeds of US electric utilities, and how many visitors are reporting internet problems with their provider.

Where the data comes from

Power outage counts are read directly from each utility's public outage map data about every 10 minutes. We do not estimate or model them. Internet outage counts are anonymous reports submitted on this site; providers do not publish outage feeds.

Limits

Counts can lag a utility's own map by several minutes and are revised as crews assess damage. Visitor reports can include individual connection problems. For emergencies, contact your utility or 911.
